Aquanett has performed (both
in and out of costume, as The
Dave Sousa Band) at a
variety of events, including corporate parties, bars, night clubs,
weddings, and political fundraisers. We hope that this informational
page will answer some of the questions you may have when considering
live music for your event.

WHAT DOES IT
COST TO HIRE US?
Pricing for Aquanett or The
Dave Sousa Band depends on
a number of variables, including the date, location, and the nature
of the event. For an accurate price, please call Dave Sousa at
(209) 303-0182 and
he will be happy to give you a quick and accurate quote over
the phone. We do make all efforts to be reasonably priced, and
we continue to be priced competitively. For a fundraiser, we are
pleased to discuss reducing our rate to help you reach your financial
goals for your event.
WHAT DO I GET WHEN I HIRE AQUANETT (or
The Dave Sousa Band)?
Well, first and foremost, you get the full Aquanett show
with all the bells and whistles (and '80s costumes and
makeup, too!). Aquanett (or The
Dave Sousa Band) can come
with our own professional sound system (unless you are a venue
that supplies that). We are also able to offer the added value
of a DJ that can play music before, in between and after our sets.
This is our way of insuring that there is music playing during
the duration of your event (or as long as you prefer). Our DJ will
be happy to play requests of music that Aquanett (or The
Dave Sousa Band) does
not perform.
If desired, the band can also perform in more upscale attire
for a more formal event. Aquanett's
"alter ego," The
Dave Sousa Band is
known for getting everybody at your party onto the dance floor
and having fun!
WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE FOR AQUANETT (or
The Dave Sousa Band) TO
PERFORM?
We simply need an area (preferably a stage) for us to perform
in/on, with access to ample power. The only other thing we ask
for is an enthusiastic audience who is ready to rock!
HOW FAR AHEAD IS AQUANETT (or The
Dave Sousa Band) BOOKED?
As the band is in demand, Aquanett (or The
Dave Sousa Band) often
performs every weekend night and some week days as well.
Sometimes dates are booked months in advance, however we will tend
to have dates available in the much closer future. Please
call us ASAP to check availability.
DOES AQUANETT (or The
Dave Sousa Band) PLAY SPECIAL REQUESTS?
Aquanett (or The
Dave Sousa Band) may be able to accommodate
certain musical requests. Please look over our song list, and we'd
love to hear about your favorite songs from the list.
Please let us know your preferences at least one month in advance.
We can also learn songs that are not on our list, but this must
be discussed well in advance of the performance (at least
